Yesterday was great! We all slept in and felt so refreshed from traveling and staying up late chatting. It's so nice to be around the Barchus'... they truly are one of a kind. They are so fun and joyful to be around and I am already having the best time. We headed to the Center (orphanage) around lunch time and a lot of the kids were taking a Sunday nap, but all of them greeted their Tata EE (even if it was through sleepy eyes :)) It felt great to be there! They had the cutest little song and "production" to welcome me, and many of the older kids spoke in English and told me how happy they were I was here. Talk about melting your heart!
We all loved on each other, spend time catching up and started up the ole homework routine. How exhausting it must be for just Jon and Ashley. I mean my mom never loved helping 4 with homework...let alone 30! It's a big task, and I was able to help and learn so much about how they are taught here in the schools. We took a break for some yummy salad, and then went back to the grind of homework! We said our goodbyes around 11pm and headed home to catch some zZz's! It was a very enjoyable first day back :)
